Page Titles in Kadence

Disclosure: This post may contain affiliate links – meaning I get a commission if you decide to make a purchase through my links, at no cost to you.

Kadence makes it easy to have the titles appear overlayed on top of a background image (or color or gradient) for all the Pages.

Here is how we can set this up.

In the Customizer > Page Layout enable Show Page Title?

Ensure that Page Title Layout is set to ABOVE CONTENT.

This will enable the Page Titles on all Pages.

It is possible to disable them when editing individual Pages.

Kadence Page Settings

To set/change the background image for Page Titles, go to Customizer > General > Colors > Title Above Content Background.

Page Title Background

There is no built-in setting to currently have the featured image be used as the Page Title background source. But it should be possible with a bit of custom code and I will be covering this in the next tutorial.

  1. Hi there. This is an old post and I am not sure if you monitor it. I got this to work well, but do you have a tip on applying CSS to set the photos to Cover in that page title area?
